Root Vegetable Biryani | How to make healthy Root Vegetable Biryani

Ingredients-

* 1 onion, 2 medium potatoes, peeled and chopped
* 2 medium sweet potatoes peeled and chopped
* 1 swede, peeled and chopped
* 2 garlic doves, peeled and crushed
* 4 carrots, peeled and sliced
* 4 medium parsnips, peeled and sliced
* 4 medium parsnips, peeled and sliced
* 1 tsp of cumin Powder ( Jeera powder)
* 1 tbsp medium curry powder
* 1 tbsp chat masala
* 350gm died rice
* salt to taste
* chopped coriander ( Dhaniya ke patte ) for serve

Root Vegetable Biryani

COOKING STEP

1 Place the onion, potatoes, swede, garlic, carrots and parsnips in a large pan

2 Cover with 900ml of boiling water, bring to boil, reduce the heat and simmer for 15 min.

3- Add the curry powder, chat masala,cumin Powder and salt stir and cook for further 2 minutes.

4 Add the rice and string often, cook for 20 min until the rice is cooked and the liquid has been absorbed.

5 Serve sprinkled with chopped coriander.
